Join Our Team as a Customer Service Officer with RSPCA NSW!

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Customer Service Officer to join our Animal Operations department on a part-time basis. You will be based at our Illawarra Shelter and report to the Customer Care Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service and accurate advice in animal care.
• Coordinate adoption and surrender processes with precise documentation.
• Manage cruelty complaints and escalate urgent cases to Inspectorate.
• Maintain accurate records through administrative tasks including daily banking.
• Ensure animals are properly identified upon receipt.
• Streamline communication for consistent messaging and address process gaps.
• Audit and analyse processes to enhance effectiveness.
• Engage in project management activities and adhere to brand guidelines.
• Support the WHS management system through personal leadership.

Position Requirements:

• Unrestricted driver's licence.
• Experience in customer service and animal handling.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Computer literacy skills.
• Certificate II in Animal Care or equivalent preferred.
