Shelter Supervisor - Full-time Permanent
Join our dedicated and passionate team at RSPCA NSW as a Shelter Supervisor in our Animal Operations department. You will lead and oversee the daily operations of our Yagoona Shelter, ensuring a high standard of care for all our animals and exceptional customer service. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills to manage and guide your team, including Animal Attendants, Customer Service Officers, and volunteers.
Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a diverse team, including training and performance management
Oversee day-to-day operations across various shelter areas and ensure compliance with policies
Coordinate adoption and surrender processes and manage customer interactions
Ensure health and safety standards are met and maintained
Prepare and manage operational data and reports
Qualifications & Skills:
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience
Experience in leadership and animal handling
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and WHS practices
