Lead and manage day-to-day operations at RSPCA's Yagoona Shelter.

Shelter Supervisor - Full-time Permanent

Join our dedicated and passionate team at RSPCA NSW as a Shelter Supervisor in our Animal Operations department. You will lead and oversee the daily operations of our Yagoona Shelter, ensuring a high standard of care for all our animals and exceptional customer service. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills to manage and guide your team, including Animal Attendants, Customer Service Officers, and volunteers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a diverse team, including training and performance management
• Oversee day-to-day operations across various shelter areas and ensure compliance with policies
• Coordinate adoption and surrender processes and manage customer interactions
• Ensure health and safety standards are met and maintained
• Prepare and manage operational data and reports

Qualifications & Skills:

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• Experience in leadership and animal handling
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and WHS practices
